O’Learys Group is looking for a commercially sharp and strategically driven Chief Procurement Officer to lead and transform our procurement function. This is a key executive position with full ownership of procurement strategy, performance, and structure across markets. Your mandate is clear: strengthen profitability for both franchisees and the Group, while building a scalable, sustainable procurement platform that enables expansion into new markets.

The Role
As CPO, you will define and execute an international procurement strategy that:
Maximizes franchisee competitiveness and value creation, operationally as well as financially
Strengthens Group margins and financial performance
Ensures quality, compliance, and sustainability
Enables scaleable and profitable international expansion
Structure and automate procurement data to ensure actionable insights
You will own the full procurement lifecycle — from strategy, sourcing, and negotiations to implementation, performance management, and supplier development.
A critical part of your mission is to build a scalable procurement model that supports entry into new markets and ensures long-term, sustainable growth.
You report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CFO and executive leadership team. You will work from O'Learys Groups office in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Define and implement short- and long-term procurement strategy
Identify and execute cost optimization and value creation initiatives
Establish procurement structures and support for new markets
Supplier & Commercial Management
Lead strategic supplier negotiations and contract management
Build long-term, value-driven supplier partnerships
Ensure traceability, sustainability, and ethical compliance
Strengthen franchisee engagement through clear purchasing advantages
Franchisee and Venue Operations
Ensure frictionless operations relating to supplier management at our Franchisees and Corporate units through close collaboration with our key suppliers
Strong ownership of unit margin development in collaboration with Commercial and Finance team
Deliver responsible and customer-centric support to our Franchisees and corporate units
Financial & Performance Management
Own procurement budgets and category performance
Structure procurement master data and increased automation of procurement data distribution and calculations
Implement KPIs, benchmarking, and performance scorecards
Contribute to financial planning and forecasting
Leadership
Build and develop a high-performing international procurement team
Establish best practices, governance, and scalable processes
Your Profile
Minimum 10 years of senior procurement / supply chain leadership experience
Experience across multiple parts of the procurement value chain (e.g., sourcing, category management, contract negotiation, supplier development, operational purchasing), providing a holistic understanding of the procurement landscape
Proven track record in strategic procurement, preferably within an international environment
Experienced in working closely with executive leadership
A confident and inspiring leader capable of building high-performing teams
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
